Dell Latitude D510 - HDD Hard error

Hi, this morning when i tried to start up my laptop, it made a funny noise and came up with 'Internal HDD Hard error' and doesn't go anywhere from there. Is it dead or can i fix this problem? Thanks

Hi and welcome to TSF you can try running the dell diagnostic How to Run the Dell
if it fails then back up your data asap
