Hi there,
My laptop keeps freezing after a few minutes of being on, then the blue screen of death appears. This does not happen in safe mode. I have not installed any new software recently before the problem started and can't think of anything I did before it happened that could have caused it.

The message on the blue screen is this:
"A process or thread crucial to system operation has unexpectedly exited or been terminated...Technical information: ***STOP: 0x000000F4 (0x0000000000000003, 0xFFFFFA8007AA3B30, 0xFFFFFA8007AA3E10, 0xFFFFF8000358C470)"

PC info:
Dell Inspiron N5110 laptop
Windows 7 Home Premium SP1
Intel Core i3-2330M CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.19GHz
4GB RAM
64-bit OS

Sounds like a problem with the hard drive's data. Do you have a restore disk or OS disk?

No I don't have any sort of restore disks although I could get access to one. Is that all that is needed?

It's certainly worth a shot. It will refresh a partition on your hard drive restoring your damaged or corrupted files.
