My dell inspiron notebook won't turn on. I suspect the battery.When I plugin my AC adapter the green light stays on steady, when I plug it in to the dell, it blinks. My questions are:
1. How do you test a battery
2. What does the blinking AC adapter mean.

Try holding down the power button for about 15 seconds. Leave it for 5 seconds, then press it again. See if it starts up.
