Go here and enter the service tag that should be on the bottom of your computer and it will tell what was purchased on your computer. Copy and paste here if you cant understand it.
dell inspiron 8600 laptop drivers wiped...please help

a friend of mine wiped out his drivers somehow after reinstalling windows xp...he can't connect to the internet...he has no drivers. are network drivers for the modem? he wants to connect to the internet. On the dell site with the network drivers for his model there's 15 network drivers...how would he know which driver to install so that he can connect to the internet? it's really confusing. what should he do? thanks, please respond as soon as possible.
