Hi people, I have a nice problem: a Dell Inspiron 4150 that does boot, starts windows etc etc and behaves normally. But it shuts off by itself after any time between 0.1 and 60 seconds... This problem just pops out of nowhere. The Dell service is really hell, they have a couple of leads but they all lead to a motherboard replacement that costs about a new machine. I have a feeling a heat sensor is down. The fan works, tested.
Does anybody have an idea what could be done? Except paying Dell of course, this is the second time a motherboard dies on me.
