Wonder if anyone can help.
My Dell Dimension 5100 will not power up.
Changed the PSU still did not power up. Bypassed the green & black cable and all drives etc started to work.

Motherboard has green light on when swithed into main.
Could it be the switch?

Problem is that Dell have used a weird front panel switch that uses a ribbon.

Any ideas? These switches are hard to get hold of.
Has anyone managed to work out what colours are for the switch on the ribbon to bypass the switch.

go to ebay and search [dell dimension 5100 audio ] and youll find that switch board for about 15 to 25 dollars
