Common signs of a failed PSU. have you been experiencing any issues prior to the failure to boot?
dell dimension 2350 not starting up help quick!!!!
my dell is freaking me out i tried to put it on this morning and its not coming on so i opened the side and look at the wires and they are all in good shape.when i plug in the pc the fan spins and stops and a green light is on the motherboard also when i keep pushing the power botton it comes on after a while.plz help need it fast!!!

no it was working fine
i looked at the wires from the on button to to motherboard and they are all fine to me....im considering a new pc how much u think it ould cost to get a PSU fixed?
You don't repair a PSU you replace it. For an older machine like that you can find a replacement power supply pretty cheap.
k so u guys are sure its PSU?
There's no way to be sure without testing it. Buy a new power supply locally and if the problem goes away then you have your answer.
