Dell AIO 922 Quit Scanning

Everything else works fine, but nothing happens when I press the scan button. Worked for three years, and then suddenly quit last week.

I work with printers, so I have tried the usual: power cycle, power cycle + unplug, unplug & reconnect USB cable, new USB cable, reinstall drivers. I have not upgraded to Vista - I am still running XP.

Any thoughts (besides buying a new AIO)?
