I have a folder on a NAS that won't delete. It contains a folder that contains a folder that contains a folder, etc. all folders being similar, except they have a different number in them.
This is a folder created while running iMovie on a Mac, but the delete problem is NAS-related, not Mac related.
The top level folder is names "iMovie Events" and it contains a folder "iMovie temporary items 08151161429052". This folder contains a folder "iMovie temporary items 08151161425620". This folder contains a folder "iMovie temporary items 08151161422196". You get the idea. There are other folders and items sometimes, but those delete normally.
When I try to delete from my XP, it says "Cannot delete file". When I try to delete from the Mac, it deletes 70+ items, but the folder and its layers are still there. I cannot delete the sub-folders either.
Other folders delete fine. I have tried renaming the folder. I can't figure out how to access "permissions" on the NAS from my MAC or PC.
