Deleted Security Certificates

Greetings all,

I had been having some sluggish responsiveness from Chrome and decided to reinstall the browser. I went through the uninstall then downloaded Chrome again from the internet and re-installed. One problem, I started getting SSL errors on a site that was working prior to the re-install.

I thought that if I deleted my security certificates they would repopulate as I went back to the sites where they were issued so I went in and deleted all of my certificates. Not a real good move.

Is there some way to get them back? Or what do I need to do in order to be able to use this computer again on the internet?

Thanks

Jake

Hi Jake and welcome to TSF.

These articles may help with recovering the certificates How to Restore a Deleted Certificate | eHow.com and WebSphere Application Server Version 7.0 but I think that you may need to know which certificates were deleted - never had to do this.
Never thought of that and I usually do

Yes, a restore point may be worth a try, but neither of the How Tos have suggested it as a preliminary step or are you talking about an actual reg backup or system image ?
