First try:
clicking on C:\Proprieties\Tools\defrag now\ - at each click a copy is loaded (it can be seen on Task Manager). All the copies can be deleted except the first to be loaded; as I try do delete it there comes the TextBox "this program is not responding". And it cannot be finished, unless I restart the computer.
Second try:
Start\All Programs\Accessories\Sistem Tools\Disk Defragmenter - it is loaded but does not open. I couldn't finish it too: TextBox "this program is not responding" appears and nothing more happens until I restart the computer.
You may want to just try diskeeper or something like it. Besides that a system restore may help... i doubt it though. Test your other accessories and see if they work.

Thank you very much, people! As Blitze105 guessed, other accessories like Scandisk and Backup weren't working either. After installing/running Diskeeper everything went fine; the hd were badly fragmented.
