I just uninstalled of real player but its still the default mpeg player.
I have windows XP mdia player and would prefer that as my default. How to I stop Mpegs from pathing to real player?

alright, you are going to have to destroy the old file associations, or reassign them.

To do this, go into any folder, click on view, go to folder options, and click on the tab that says "file types"

From here you can select which application opens up the MPEG files (should be under "movie Clip"). When you edit, select the executable of Windows Media Player to open them.
