Hi,
just out of curiosity, I decided to install debian onto my laptop with windows 7 professional, on an external drive. I thought that if I wanted to play with debian, I could boot from the external drive and would not create any harm to my working Win 7 system.
The install did not finish because of some problems I did not understand, and I decided not to mess my system up and restarted.
Now, although in the add remove programs window there is nothing to be uninstalled, everytime i reboot, windows boot manager menu comes up to ask whether I want to load Win 7 or "continue with install process".
How can I remove the changes made to the disk, including eliminating this boot manager window ? (system restore did not solve the problem, neither did the fixmbr, or fixboot commands).
thanks already for help.
