Hi, iv been building systems for a while however i have recently run into a snag with one of my rigs. The system is running an Asus A3M32 MVP delux mobo with a 9650 quad core for amd. Basically the system hung then upon restart there was no post beep. I removed the ram and the gpu as well as everything else and im trying to target the source of the problem. I beleive that it either has to be the CPU or the Mobo. What are some tests that i can use to be sure.

Also if you have any otehr thoughts please feel free to add.

If you pull all the ram does it beep continuously when trying to boot? Providing you have a Motherboard speaker of course.
