DDR and SDRAM
my question is simple- will SDRAM function when put in a DDR slot?
my reason? well i just bought a new computer, and like all new computers it has DDR RAM, my old computer had SDRAM. I have a spare 512 stick of SDRAM from that computer that i never got working, will it be compatable with my new computer?

they are 100% NOT interchangeable.
there exists a physical difference in the layout of the pins.
even though they look similar, no fit. sorry.

Probably best to sell the stick on ebay and get the right one for the new computer. 512MB SDRAM can still get a pretty penny. Still a lot of machines out there that use SDRAM.
