Data tranfer from new Zip 100 to an old Zip 100
Dear Expert(s):
The security features (I 'think') on the new Zip ATAPI external drive will allow that drive to be used as a backup for files from my Windows XP Home Edition 2005 computer. But those files can't be transfered to an older, internal ATAPI/IDE drive.
If I format the Zip 100 disks in the older computer, files from such can be successfully transfered to the new computer. But when I try to transfer "new to old" the old computer won't even recognize that a disk has been installed.
If the above problem is a security issue, how can I negate those features from the new driver so that I can transfer files back and forth between new and old computers? Thanks!
