Is anyone else having issues with Data Execution Prevention shutting down nearly every web page or site you visit? Since Microsoft force IE9 on me I have been going nuts with this. Any ideas on how to shut it off?

Hi dwben,

DEP is something that you should have on at all times. Can you try re-setting IE first to see if the issue resovles itself.

In IE do: Tools>Internet Options>Advanced>Reset>Reset>Done.

The first time you hit Reset, it will ask you if you wish to Reset all of IE's settings and also if you want to Delete Personal Settings, delete passwords etc by checking the box. This will also disable any add-ons that you currently use including Active X's. See attached images.

Were you using any add-ons by the way, and if so which ones?

Does the error also occur in other browsers, or just IE.
Is the page you are trying to view, a trusted one?
