Data execution prevention issue

Whenever browsing folders in my D: drive; that is to say my drive that does not contain Windows, this error pops up and forces me to close it down. It happens sometimes if I open pictures or videos and sometimes it just happens when browsing the directories. Any thoughts? Thanks a bunch.

right click on the folder, select "properties". On the "general" tab, click on the "Advanced..." button. De-select "For Fast Searching, Allow Indexing Service to Index This Folder".
Indexing service is the Windows Search function. Your drive wants to be indexed for faster searching options, but it takes a long time to index the contents It also forgets about the index if you unplug the drive and then plug it in later. Windows Search is not very helpful and slows your computer down.
