I've heard about cygwin for awhile now, essentially Unix under Windows emulation, the reverse of Wine 
I had to install Windows in order to play some games that just refused to install under X so I decided to give cygwin a try, I don't like windows, but atleast now its halfway palatable with my old Unix friends available to me For those of you who are scared to install Linux, try cygwin and you'll see some of the powerful tools available to you and why I love Unix so much :smooch:
