Cycling through a BSoD, safe mode inaccessible.

Hi. Another one of my computers seems to be having issues. This time it tries to boot into windows vista, but after the load screen it gives me a blue screen and immediately restarts.

Even in safe mode, after loading the drivers it immediately gives me a blue screen and restarts. Maybe a drivers issue? Or is one of my hard drives failing? I have two raid hdd's installed and it says one of them is failing...

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

A failing hard drive could definitely cause that. I suggest you remove the failing drive and boot with the other. If you have a striped array (as opposed to a mirror), backup all the data to another drive, and do a clean install onto the good drive.
Okay. Thanks for the response!

I will try your suggestion. I ran a bootable test on my hard drive and it came up fine. So it's leading me to believe it could be some issue with the filesystem...

Symbiotech,
A system restore would not solve a physical hardware issue; it won't hurt to give it a try however.

What configuration of RAID are you running? Is it hardware or software?
It is Software Configured RAID.
I'd say break the RAID for now; remove the drive it says is failing.
