I have a cub cadet that seems like the transmission just isn't engaging. The belt is turn but yet not moving at all. It will bog down so I know it's getting gas. It was driving fine and then I stopped to do something. Cranked it back up and this happens. Hydrostatic, model LTX 1045 with the Kohler Courage 22 SV470-620 engine. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

It is possible the even though the drive belt is moving it is too loose and is slipping on the transaxle drive pulley. Also the idler pulleys for wear especially the v-idlers as many were plastic/fiberglass composite and due wear heavily causing belt slippage even on new belts. The current v-idlers for the LTX1045 are metal for this reason. It been a while I simply don't remember if these mower's v-idler were plastic or metal as I do service multiple brands.

BTW the engine is probably the Kohler SV600 but not sure of the spec number.
