CSS Server problems

Hey all,

Whenever I start playing CSS, I get a disconnect from EVERY first server I join. So I'll be able to just boot up CSS, refresh the server list, join a server, and then I always get disconnected. After that, every server I join works just fine. I have a wireless connection, and it doesn't do that when I have it on ethernet, so I think it has to do with my wireless, but I have no clue how to fix it.

Hi, welcome to TSF

Well if you are able to join other servers after that, then I don't see much of a problem.

You can try disabling your anti-virus and firewall.

Also you can try opening ports, what is your router make and model

Well, it is a problem, because I can't join the server I got disconnected from for over 10 minutes after that (because "I'm still on there" according to the game). So if I want to play with someone and I get disconnected, I already lose 10 minutes.

I don't know my router make and model, where can I find it?

Walk around your house to find a box with a bunch of blinking lights and possibly an antenna, it will have the name on it, on the bottom should be the model (for Example: Linksys D524 where Linksys is the name and D524 is the model)
