CRT monitor problem

Hello, I have a problem with my old monitor.

It makes the same problem you can see in this video
YouTube - How to repair a broken computer monitor?

I read that it can be some loose contact.

If I open it, where should I look?. How can I repair it, if possible?.

Thanks

opening a crt monitor is dangerous and should only be done by someone who knows what they are doing and who is electrostatically protected. They use very high voltages which they can retain for days at a time even when disconnected from the mains power I suggest you take it to someone who know what they are doing on repair wise or buy a new one.
First of all, go back to Rich's post and read it again. The voltages he speaks of are in the 15 kV range (yes that's 15000 volts). Getting zapped with it may not kill you on the spot, but it will definitely ruin your day.

That being said, the problem looks to be in the vertical drive circuitry - possibly a loose and/or broken neck board, or maybe a loose solder joint.
