Is there somewhere on the forum that discusses the creation of online games?

@the creation of online games suggestion , it would be a great idea but frankly IMO thers not enough people on TSF that would be thoroughly contributing to that topic, also the games creation would mean programming ? if that a true programming forum would be the better hit !
Not currently, but that would be a nice place to have. We'll take that into consideration.
Thanks for the quick response Gamerman, we have the ideas, we really are excited about the future of gaming and see the next level, I thought you folks would like it, so I am throwing it out there. It may be one of those things that some of the programmer gamer folks and me have to get together with offline line, but the attitude of the community here, is why I want to start here. We started a tournament league first back in 2005. I designed the logo and we had local tournaments for Halo II and wanted to get a Madden football league thing going. But things have changed since the beginning. Now I have a better picture and better ideas to work from the creative side. So if there is interest, but like I say this is a very friendly community and that is what we are needing, "friends and family". I am happy to be a part of it. talk with you all later tonight probably.
I moved these posts into a new thread, so as not to hijack the other thread.

I just wanted to add, it's fine to discuss and get help with creating new games - but please understand that you are not allowed to advertise.

You can post your questions in the appropriate "Discussion" section - if you're making normal PC games, post in PC Gaming Discussion; if you're making online games, post in Online Gaming Discussion, etc.

Ok, we are not even close to be advertising, but if and when we do, we wont break rules here, might ask for suggestions, actually it maybe programming and programmers I am searching for. I have been thinking I may be in the wrong place, but you have to start somewhere. I just sort of stumbled onto you all's forum here and so far have been aided tremendously. So I will take heed if I am in the wrong place but do like to get real directions to the right place. Thanks

Mr Fraggs, is there a programming section here at TSF or are you talking about some other forum? I think my first steps are to copyright and or trademark my ideas/concept stories so I can discuss them a little more freely. I will watch what I say for now. The TSF site has lifted my spirit to continue the pursuit. It was a very hard year, particularly starting the end of summer and through the fall till the end of the year. But since 2007 has started things are looking better. I am scanning my computer with more efficiency and in less time, so that is good. I got 4 free CDs for $2.96 from a tip from Chevy over at MS section at www.thinkall.com. They want others to visit them for giveaways while the offer lasts, no strings, no surveys or credit card apps to fill out, really nice. So I am happy, and I am telling others to visit TSF for help with computer stuff. Actually I think this forum will grow since it is so helpful and friendly to first timers. Ok I am out:wave:
