Need some help ... first time creating a web site too!
creating website - problems with ActiveX and scripts in internet explore 7. Is ther anything in the code of my pages where I can over-ride this problem for viewers using explore 7. Just worried that most people won't allow the content. HELP!

You might try a browser detection script. If you are handy with php, coldfusion, asp, cgi, etc. You could capture the user_auth variables to give your script a specific browser version and type. Then possibly you could send a different active x plugin to older browsers. Check with the scripting manuals to find the variable your looking for. Could be user_auth_client or something like that. Otherwise you might like to avoid active x and try other active tech like flash, or dhtml.
