Creating MY computer icon

Yes i have a question about creating a "my computer" icon for the desktop thats not a shortcut? because i want to be able to right and properties faster..its just easier that way..thanks :)

Right click on desktop --> Properties --> Desktop --> Customize Desktop.

From here you can select and deselect My Computer, Internet Explorer, My Documents and My Network Places to show on your desktop.
