I have a Craftsman track drive 9 hp snowblower model # 247.888550. The left track turns when in gear and the traction drive is engaged but the right track does not. I tipped the unit up and removed the bottom plate. There does not appear to be a problem with a chain being off the gear or with the friction wheel. The left track appears locked when not in gear but the right track turns freely, independent of the axle. Is there some type of shear bolt broken off? When I run the machine it just circles to the right. Any ideas?

Go to Craftsman and look up the parts diagram. Seems to me you would be able to see if it has sheerpins in the axles, but maybe there hidden...
