So far ive added a Silent Knight heatsink/fan and Artic Silver 5. And still i can not keep the CPU temp under 50c when on full load.
The nothbridge, I/O ports, around/back of the CPU slot is covered in copper pipes, which lead to a northbridge heatsink/fan.
I want to Overclock the CPU from 2.66 to 3.0 but at this rate it doesnt seem possible.
I think this is partly due to my case.
Motherboard : 32c
CPU: 42c
CPU Core 1: 51c (currently at full load)
CPU Core 2: 47c (Idle)
GPU: 48c
GPU Memory: 57c
GPU Ambient: 44c
HDD 1: 43c
HDD 2: 48c (Top HDD)
HDD 3: 42c
HDD 4: 42c

Fans: 1x 120mm, 3x 80mm.

Also out of a 3.5gram tube of thermal paste, how much do you use on the CPU. All of it, half of it, or enough to ensure after heatsink is applied it covers the CPU.

Anyone have any tips of keeping cool.

You need very little Artic Silver. Too much defeats the object. A blob about the size of a grain of rice is sufficient but it must be spread evenly across the surface. I usually use a credit card. If you still have problems, you could try the lapping procedure described here.
