i have an AMD duron 1200 running on a giga-byte M/B (GA-7IXEH)....... i was looking to change the cpu for a faster FSB..... but after digging around i saw that the duron 1200 runs @ 200 FSB which my M/B can handle..... i have some software on my computer that says it's only running @100 FSB..... WHY. is it as easy as changing a setting in the BIOS ?.... if so i can do that.

iam not sure but.....

iam 16 and really nows about pc's but reallly doesnt know how to fix them. sorry. but let me see if you software says it's at 100 then maybe the software is rong or maybe your cpu doesnt need to run at 200.

sometimes when the cpu needs it it will use it. like memmory. i really am not sure and would re-check that you installed the cpu thing the right way.
