CPU Fan

Are we talking about an XP or a 64?

Sorry, not thinking. Athlon 64 3700+ is what I plan on using. Its more than I need but I have grandchildren and great grandchildren that like to play games when they visit. Going to use a SLI rated MB but will only put one graphic card in for now.

Check out these items at Newegg to get a starting idea. Generally, the quieter cooling systems also use larger fans. The only downside is that due to size restrictions in cases, you may be limited as to how big of a fan you can get. There are even fanless solutions available but I wouldn't recommend them unless you have great ambient temperatures and great case airflow.
