CPU Fan Readings at Post Screen

About 3wks. ago I had problems with my ram, I ran Memtest86+ and got an error on WMATS+. I cleaned ram slots and switched from 2&4 to 1&3 that problem has been resolved. Now I just noticed in the Post Screen that the CPU Fan Speed is showing double the rpm (e.g. in the BIOS the CPU Fan speed reads 6,026 whereas the POST Screen reads 12,053 rpm). I'm using the heatsink in my sig. These readings never happened until I flashed the BIOS to a newer version since my BIOS was quite old. Is there something in the BIOS I need to change? I know there's someone out there who can give some insight on this :sayyes: .
