could not download repositories

help me please,,when I'm trying to update my ubuntu it always said "could not download repositories"

Hi,

Can you tell me what version of Ubuntu you are using? Also, I would go to System -> Admin -> Software sources. Then see what sources are there. How long has this been going on for you?
