Corsair H50 and I5 2500K TEMPS

My idle temp without any overclock is around 43 degrees with my i5 2500k and the Corsair H50 with the stock thermal paste. Is this temp to high?

While it may be a tad high, it is nothing to worry about at stock speeds. If you want to overclock, then you might want to consider your case cooling (what fans, where located, which direction they are blowing) and other possible tweaks to bring that temp down a bit.
What temps do you get with the OEM HSF?

For a water cooling system, you should be getting mid to low 30's idle temp unless your case temperature is 40°+. If that's the case, you need to install more and/or higher performance fans.

The other possible issue is you installed the block incorrectly. You can try to remove it and re-apply some Arctic Silver 5 or other micronized silver compound. AS5 is recommended though.

Just out of curiosity, what case (chassis) are you using? Where are your fans located?

Also, can you go into your BIOS and tell us what voltage the CPU is running at?
