Hi Guys,
New to this forum so I hope I'm posting in the right place.
I just installed Corel Draw 8 on this computer. It's an old program but has been tried and true for me. After installation of main program I also "rev'd" it up with the two update patches which I had saved from my previous computer. When I brought the program up for the first time I find it will not start a new document and I get the following error:
cdrcpr80.dll could not be found in programs directory
OK, so I have used this program thousands of times and in various different computers I've owned and this is a first! I do not know where it came from as I did the install just as I have on my previous computers. This computer is running XP Media Edition (Pro kernel) SP3. I have run on the same XP program before (resurrecting old load on new HDD) flawlessly. Why am I getting this issue now?
I can't afford a new program and I am very proficient on this version and need to work now, not after days of relearning a newer version. I realize CD8 is something of a dinosaur, but it has been great for my needs.
Any assistance in solving this problem would be appreciated.
Thanks
