400 Series

RS400

RC400
The same as RS400 except for:

RC410
The same as RC400 except for die-shrink from 130 nm to 110 nm.
RC415
The same as RC410, optimized for Core 2 Duo and Windows Vista

But the hp website says i can only go to pd?

Does this mean all i need is bios flash? a nice friend is giving me a 650 watt silverstone for christmas so i can worry about other parts of my computer.

are you getting this info from the HP website ????? or are you getting this info from the capabilities of the chipset and the real motherboard maker ???

HP, Dell and others neuter their bios so they cant accept bios upgrades from anyone other than the OEM the board in question will have a lot more capability directly from its original vendor then it will coming from OEM

perfect example is the OEM bios will only support the original configuration and all overclocking options will be removed

in your shoes you would be far better off buying a new motherboard from mwave.com / refurb (they really come to you in a new retail box) like the Gigabyte 965 for $41.00 now or the P35 for $61.00

it would also require a case change, the Coolermaster Centurion is in the refrub section for $24.00

now doesnt that sound like a geeks christmas come true ????????
