Hey guys i was just wondering, when i have a crash or stop error, sometimes my only option is t force restart the comp (push restart button) - I just wanted to know if restarting the comp effects or in some way damages the physical drive, damages data or creates HD errors?

Whether restarting constantly or or once in awhile - whats is BAD?

Thanks appreciate it!

hello

yes / restarting your computer in such a way after a crash can be very harmful especially to your operating system and hard drive

I suggest you go to your hard drive manufacturers website and download their diagnostic utility and run it to verify your hard drive is healthy

then go to memtest86.com and get their memory testing program / run that for at least two hours to test your memory

here is another version

http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp

if your drive checks out OK

then do this next
