I have a Enermax Galaxy 1000w power supply and there is cable labeled fan RPM, according to the manual it is for 8cm fan RPM detection.
Okay dumb question where to I plug it into.
I am attaching a drawing of my motherboard.

you don't show a pwr fan socket try it in the aux fan socket
