Hello, everyone.

I've been disassembling my laptop (to fix HP tx2500, the well known faulty GPU thermal paste and overheating problem) and I think I broke off the camera-to-display connection from my motherboard.

See, it just wouldn't disconnect, even now that it's broken..

Is there a way to re-solder it? :(

Damn, I hate HP... no support, no nothing..

Thanks in advance.

I would say that if you have to ask, you don't have the skillset required to perform the work. The camera not working is better than the whole motherboard not working.

You would need to use a proper soldering iron. With that said, unlike normal soldering, PCB's (circuit boards) are easy to overheat and damage.
