I have recently been playing CS and one day it just stopped and that day I think was Saturday. Anyway I can't connect it just keeps retrying and retrying. I'm on a wireless 802.11b cable network. It is a 3 mega bit cable network and I'm using F-Secure ant-virus and firewall plus the windows firewall. Everything has been granted access and I have tried reseting the modem and router but it hasn't worked. What should I do???

Questions:

1. Are you able to connect when directly hooked to the modem?

2. Have you disabled your firewalls and checked connections?

3. Try a ping test...go to Start>Run>type command (click ok)>ping www.google.com

4. Check your cable modem to ensure that all is hooked up well and the lights are running like they should be...what modem is it?

Open a DOS window and type:

IPCONFIG /ALL >C:\RESULT.TXT

Open C:\RESULT.TXT with Notepad and copy/paste the entire results here.
