I recently bought a range expander for my home network after trying an amplified antenna on both my desktop card and the router, but with no help in low signal. I have a Belkin router #F5D7231-4 in the middle of my house and have a lnksys wireless with speedboost car in my desktop on the far end of the house that only gets a low signal. The signal has to travel accros my living room and thru a brick wall in the kitchen to get to my computer. There is a window area in the kitchen where i put the range expander and used the auto configure button on it. It found my netowrk and immediatley i have an excellent signal strength. But after about 10 minutes, it switched to limited to n connectivity. I reset my network multiple times and everytime with the same issue. Am i missing something inmy networking that would cause this to happen? Oh and it only effect my comuter. My roomates laptop at the other end of the house has no issue
