Connected but not Operational

:wave: Hey there, Hello, ThaPhantom needs help with a LapTop which is connected to a home network and even tho it shows "Connected", it can't or it won't work, (Kan't get IE7). LapTop is an Acer, OS: win vista home. Main PC OS:win 7 premium home. At&t sez that with the 2wire 2701HG-B Modem, it will work at up to 50ft.... It won't. My PC is in my room and the LapTop is in my daughter's room... roughly... 15 to 20 ft. It won't work there 100%. When it does, u kan send for death and get it before the LapTop loads IE7 up.... slow as tar!!! It works da best at the foot of my bed, right next to the main PC, still, slow as tar. Currently the LapTop's "C" drive has 69 gb free memory?
