Hi Guys,

I guess this is a pretty straight forward question. I'm trying to connect and charge at the same time a XBOX 360 wireless controller with Windows 7 without buying a Wireless Gaming Receiver. Please only post if you have a resolution for this problem with step by step instructions on how this is done if it even is possible.

Thank You

Vlad

That link that you have provided me with did not work. I think it may have been only a 32 bit and I need a 64 bit. I found a wired controller and as soon as I connected it I got a message that told me that Windows has found and installed drivers for it successfully. I will have the game in a couple of hours and I will post then to let you know if or how it works.

Alright so I've tried everything and the controller is now hooked up properly and working and I know that because I am able to calibrate it. It turns out that the game (Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2) does not support a game pad of any kind. The only controls available are the keyboard and mouse to my knowledge so far anyways. These two links are both for Windows 7 directly from the Microsoft site.

This one's for 32 bit:

This one's for 64 bit:

Enjoy
