Greetings-
When I try to configure my sound device in Windows Media encoder it gives me the options to choose; statium, pub or hall.

On different computer with a different sound card the choices are; Line in, microphone and line out.

Can anyone tell me how they correlate to each other?

Thanks
Andy

I'm not sure, but it sounds like you're looking at different settings. The stadium/pub/hall is referring to reverb effects (the amount of echo) and the line/mic is referring to in/output sources. The two things aren't related.

well that's interesting. Because when I click on the sound icon in the sys tray
and go to record properties- that is what is displayed- Statium, pub and hall.
No where does it say microphone.
