my computer somes on the fans are going and the dvd writer is going and the floppy disk but i hear nothing out of my hard drive but if i put it another computer the hard drive works help

Try changing the IDE cable to the hard drive

What kind (IDE or Sata) of hard drive? How do you have it hooked up in your rig?

If IDE, how do you have jumpers set? What else is on that ribbon cable? Where do you have it located on the ribbon cable?

Does your computer start the post process and beep? Anything on the screen when you start up?
