computer wont start please help

i just moved and the computer i built will turn on the fans will go on etc but nothing will boot nothing comes up on the moniter and there is no start up beep once after it went out i checked all connections turned it on it started up and all but then it froze on the dsktop and just stayed that way till i restarted can anyone tel me what the problem is and how i can fix it?

welcome to tsf

always ground yourself by grabbing the computer case before touching components

the move had to have something to do with the problem

check that the video card and ram are seated properly.

try resetting the cmos by pulling the battery out for 30min after you unplug it.

hmmm...take out all of the computer parts again and reseat them again and see if this works. actually reseat the bare minimum parts. the only parts needed to make a computer post are the power supply, motherboard, cpu, ram, and videocard. only install these parts inside the case and see if the computer post. good luck
