computer won't boot

My computer won't boot, it won't let me use my keyboard or mouse. When it comes on it says keyboard failure. I can't do anything. I was trying to run window xp service pack 2 when this problem happen, I have window xp pack 1. All my screen do is show a black screen with the white cursor blicking at the top. What can I do?

Try reinstalling the drivers

check the bios settings are set to
usb on boot
don't halt on errors

try another k/board
