Okay so im fixing my grandmothers computer :

Custom AMD sempron 2???
Asrock mobo
1236mb RAM
80gb HD

So her computer would boot and shut itself down everytime I booted it:upset:, so I noticed the CPU fan wasnt blowing so i ordered a new heatsink and fan, i installed it, then when I went to turn it on everything was normal, but nothing would show on any monitor i tried. I've already removed the RAM and tried it, nothing. :4-dontkno

So when i try and boot it it turns on all the fans and power buttons , but wont send any signal to the monitor NOR the keyboard NOR the mouse.
So is it a bios error, do i need to update the bios or is the CPU fried from the old fan dying?:4-dontkno

Did you clean off the old thermal material and apply new thermal paste when you replaced the heatsink?

Yes there was old white thermal paste still on it that I cleaned and replaced with OCZ Ultra 5+ thermal compound.

I'm thinking it's the CPU because doesn't the PSU automatically send power to the motherboard even if the CPu is dead?

Hard to say . . you can trouble shoot it by following the process in the Bench Test in my signature . .

I would bench test it but the way the motherboard attaches to the case is inevitable so ?

I;m gonna post some pictures to let u guys see what the cpu looks like .

This may sound absurd but what key are you pressing to enter the BIOS?

Hmmm, I'm not sure u got what i meant, IT will NOT even show bios or anything on bootup, and it has INTEGRATED graphics FYI, I tried a 6200le but it didnt help so im just gonna order a new processor.
