Computer The Same With 1 GB Ram Upgrade

I am running Windows XP Professional with 3GB Ram and Pentium 4 dual core 260GHz processor.

I was originally running 2GB ram, but since I added the extra 1GB it does not appear to have made any difference, even when doing video editing.

Could somebody please explain why there is no difference.

Post the specs of the PC.

Depending on your system configuration you may not be running dual channel by'

adding the additional RAM.

Besides you want see a big difference between 2 and 3 GB in Windows XP.
