Hello my name is aaron habib, and im running windows xp media center with service pack three. And when i build this computer and had fresh software in it, it ran fast as ever. (specs: Quad core 2.40 GHz with 4 gigs of ram and a 8500 gt video card) So its not the hardware being slow i know that much. So i have a software problem or a virus or SOMETHING that's destroying the integrity of my computer. And i have ran MaCfee full virus scans and spybot spyware scans and uni blues whole tool set to try to solve it and nothing. So if you need a Hijack this post please tell me and ill be happy to post one. Thanks!

Open Task Manager and check the cpu usage. If it's high, check to see which process is using the cpu. You may also want to check Event Viewer and see if Windows is reporting any hardware issues. If all of that looks normal, then we will need to know exactly what is "slow".
