Hi

my computer randomly beeps twice (sounds like the same beeping as when the computer starts), "my computer" "accesories calculator" and "windows help and support" open themselves, and the computer goes through the shutdown process and turns off.

These events are all at random times and in no particular order, it can be on for 20 mins and start one or all of those events, or it can go for hours before it does it? I have run malicious removal tool, windows defender, zonealarm antivirus and spyware, spybot, malwarebytes anti spyware and even switched off my zonealarm and installed pc tools and run that.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions what is the matter, it's doing my head in wondering?

sounds kinda funny..check for over heating. make sure ur processor fan is working. also check the temperature in the bios

I should have said, yes I have checked the temp, I have speedfan installed I have attached a copy of the screen dump from one of the readings.

I also had a faulty wireless network card that i had disabled ages ago, I even removed it from the computer to no avail.

I guess the only thing I can think of is maybe faulty ram, anyone agree? and if so how do i test?

Hi download the iso unzip and burn to disc http://www.google.co.uk/url?q=http:...=section_link&resnum=1&ct=legacy&ved=0CAkQygQ use this http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download to do it then boot fro the disc and run the test one stick at a time when done switch the sticks over to the other socket and run agin for at least 7 passes each time it will take some time to complete
